Dr Yahya Kiwan graduated from Al Mosul Medical School in Iraq. He started his carrier as a cardiologist in 1985. He spent five years training in clinical, non invasive, invasive and interventional cardiology. In 1990 he became consultant cardiologist. From 1997 till 2006 he worked as a consultant interventional cardiologist in Newzeland and Australia. In 2006 he joined Dubai Hospital. He has published more than forty papers and presented many articles in international meetings. He had active role in establishing practical guidelines and clinical management pathways in most of the hospitals he worked in. His main interest is in coronary artery and valve interventions. He also trained many juniors cardiologist in interventional procedures.
