Dr Obaid Aljassim, graduated from Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Univer-sity of Gothenburg, Sweden in 1995. He obtained the Swedish Board in Cardiothoracic Surgery in 2005 after training at the department of Cardioth-oracic Surgery at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Currently is the Director of Dubai Heart Center at Dubai Hospital, Dubai Hea-lth Authority.

Honorary Member at Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden and Medical Advisor for Sahlgren-ska International Care AB (Formerly SwedeHealth Gothenburg care AB).

He’s main interests are Coronary Artery Revascularization, Aortic Valve Sur-gery and has many publications in this field.

He’s a member of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Goth-enburg Medical Association, and Emirates Medical Association and is the vice president of the Emirates Cardiac Society.
